“Runaway Train” is a single-player, Half-Life 2: Episode Two mission. Players experience the rush of stealth and combat inside and on top of a moving train. Constructing this level took a total of fifty hours.

 - Create the compelling illusion of a moving train

Technical Highlights

 - Five unique door-opening sequences
 - Enemies spawned just prior to player viewing them to maximize performance
 - Moving environment surrounding playspace to simulate a moving train
